BUT WHEN THE SUN ROSE, THEY WERE SCORCHED, AND BECAUSE THEY HAD NO ROOT, THEY DRIED UP AND WITHERED AWAY.
OTHER SEEDS FELL AMONG THORNS, AND THE THORNS GREW UP AND CHOKED THEM OUT. OTHER SEEDS FELL ON GOOD SOIL, AND YIELDED GRAIN - SOME A HUNDRED TIMES as MUCH AS WAS SOWN, SOME SIXTY TIMES AS MUCH, AND SOME THIRTY.
The harvest at the end. The Bible says that those who sow with tears shall reap with joy. The periods of preparation, planting, weeding and the like are not always associated with sweet experiences. This same process is true about the earth and all that live in it. There is a great day of harvest that is coming. It is not going to be the harvest of rice, wheat or mullet, but the harvest of souls. However, it is not all that is found on the field that will be gathered into the barn. The entire world can be likened to as a farmland where there are varieties of crops being planted. From the parable of the Sower, which Jesus told in Matthew 13 three through eight, the Word of God is that living seed which is planted into the hearts of mankind. Unfortunately, due to the heart conditions of mankind and their disposition to the eternal gospel, the living seed of Christ, the wayside hearts, the stony hearts and the thorny hearts could not bear any fruit. Despite the fact that they had access to the viable seed of the Word of God. God in his infinite mercy, sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to preach the message of reconciliation to sinners and to die for our sins. Yet some people would rather choose to perish in their sins than to accept the living way through which God offered salvation to all the human race. In the parable of the wheat and the tares, the Bible says in
MATTHEW 13:24 THROUGH 25. ANOTHER PARABLE PUT HE FORTH UNTO THEM SAYING, THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS LIKENED UNTO A MAN WHO SOWED GOOD SEED INTO HIS FIELD.
BUT WHILE MEN SLEPT, HIS ENEMY CAME AND SOWED TARES AMONG THE WHEAT AND WENT HIS WAY.
Jesus used this parable to distinguish between the righteous and the unrighteous. However, we saw the role that the enemy, which is the devil played in the corruption of the good intention of the sower.
The intention of God for the Earth is that holy people will forever dwell in it. However, man became vulnerable to the devil and the garden. From the parable of the wheat and the tares. The servants of the sower woke up and wondered at the reason tares were growing up with the wheat. They had planted and they requested to uproot the tares, but their master forbade them until the day of harvest. The reason righteous people and the unrighteous ones are still together on Earth is because the harvest has not yet been gathered at the fullness of time which will be appointed by God. There shall be separation of the righteous from the unrighteous. 2 PETER 3: 9 THE LORD IS NOT SLACK CONCERNING HIS PROMISE, AS SOME MEN COUNT SLACKNESS BUT IS LONG SUFFERING TO US, WARD NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, BUT THAT ALL SHOULD COME TO REPENTANCE. The harvest of the world will be gathered after that. God has long waited for people to repent and turn from their evil ways. The tares would be gathered and bound to be burned with fire. This will be the fate of the unrighteous, as confirmed in
REVELATIONS 14:18-19, which says AND ANOTHER ANGEL CAME OUT FROM THE ALTAR WHICH HAD POWER OVER FIRE AND CRIED WITH A LOUD VOICE TO HIM THAT HAD THE SHARP SICKLE SAYING THRUST IN THY SHARP SICKLE AND GATHER THE CLUSTER OF THE VINE OF THE EARTH.
FOR HER GRAPES ARE FULLY RIPE. AND THE ANGEL THRUST IN HIS SICKLE INTO THE EARTH AND GATHERED THE VINE OF THE EARTH AND CAST IT INTO THE GREAT WINE PRESS OF THE WRATH OF GOD.
At the appointed time, God will give order to His angels to begin to harvest the fruits of the earth. It will be unfortunate for those who have lived their lives in unrighteousness as they will have to face the wrath of God. And the beautiful thing about the wrath of God is that whoever receives his wrath, it is because of their own individual choice. It is your own choice where you will spend eternity. It is your own choice whether you will go to heaven or hell. No one will be in heaven by accident. Every person in heaven would have made an intentional, deliberate, calculated choice to repent and believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
I assure your choices have consequences. Even in our society, if you break the law, you will face the punishment of the government. You will face the consequences of the nation or state you live in. Choices have consequences. If you choose to disobey God and if you choose to disobey the laws he has set in his own universe, you will face the consequences. And that is the wrath of God. And the laws he has given us in his holy word reflect his holy character.
This is God's universe. He spoke it into existence. This is God universe, and He is the one who holds it all together. This is God's universe and he will one day destroy it to create a new heaven and a new earth. This is God's universe. And he will one day judge it. Therefore, it is only right that only his laws that you find in this book should prevail. And any one that goes against the laws that he has written in this book will experience the wrath of God. The message of the wrath of God is one that a lot of people don't like because your conscience and my conscience tells us what the scriptures tell us is true, that we have offended the creator of the universe who is infinite and eternal. Your conscience tells you that Romans 3:23 is right.
ROMANS 3:23 FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD.
That means that we are all liable for the wrath of God. This is why people don't like this message of the wrath of God. No one wants to hear the fact that I have offended an infinite, eternal God who demands justice. No one wants to hear the fact that the creator of the heavens and the earth is personally angry with them for not meeting the laws of his universe that he created. No one wants to hear that there will be a judgment day, and the judge on that day will be that very same God in whom they have offended.
No one wants to hear that after being created as spirit being they can never be destroyed. Therefore, the punishment they must endure must be an everlasting one. An eternal one. The harvest of the world will happen at the second coming of Christ, according to MATTHEW 25-31-32, WHEN THE SON OF MAN SHALL COME IN HIS GLORY AND ALL THE HOLY ANGELS WITH HIM, THEN SHALL HE SIT UPON THE THRONE OF HIS GLORY, AND BEFORE HIM SHALL BE GATHERED ALL THE NATIONS, AND HE SHALL SEPARATE THEM ONE FROM THE OTHER AS A SHEPHERD. DIVIDETH HIS SHEEP FROM THE GOATS.
At the second appearance of Jesus, all nations will be gathered before him, and there shall be separation of the righteous from the unrighteous. The righteous are here regarded as sheep, while the unrighteous are referred to as goats. We must therefore prepare ourselves for the coming of the Lord in order not to become victims of God's wrath. Choices have consequences. And the choice you make in this lifetime will affect your eternity. You may think you're getting away with your current choices. You may currently think you can live any way you want and get away with it. But I want to read you one verse. GALATIANS 6:7 BE NOT DECEIVED. GOD IS NOT MOCKED FOR WHATSOEVER A MAN SOWETH THAT SHALL HE ALSO REAP. YOU CAN MOCK ME. YOU CAN MOCK YOUR FAMILY. You can mock your pastor, but you cannot mock God. There is an eternal God that cannot be mocked, that is kept a count of everything. Choices have consequences.
At the Great White throne. Those who are just church goers. Those who have the form of holiness but deny the power thereof. Those who rejected salvation. All of these people will regret their actions here at the Great White Throne. There are no good rewards. No one will be welcomed as a faithful servant. These are the people who have not allowed Grace to wipe away their sins. Those who have not called on Christ to forgive them and clean their records to start new. John said that a book was opened and some other books were opened. These books have records of the things they have done. None of these things has been cleared because they did not seek after salvation and seek forgiveness.
Have you imagined how the fear of God will be all over the place? That no one will be able to look at his face? I honestly believe that on this day we will see a side of God that we have never seen before. Look at REVELATION 20:11 AND I SAW A GREAT WHITE THRONE AND HIM THAT SAT ON IT. FROM WHOSE FACE THE EARTH AND THE HEAVEN FLED AWAY AND THERE WAS FOUND NO PLACE FOR THEM.
Look at this phrase. Whose face? The earth and heaven fled away. That is the judge, the great creator, the Alpha and Omega el Shaddai, Elohim, Adonai, ABBA, el Elyon, God Almighty, the mighty Creator who is from everlasting to everlasting, who knows no beginning and knows no end. He will be the judge on this day.
